Κωνσταντίνος Ευθυμιόπουλος

Konstantinos is the Chairman of the Board of Synaffix BV and of Biopôle SA, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Metis Precision Medicine SB Srl. He is also the founder and Managing Director of PLUS Life Sciences Consulting Sàrl, a private Swiss company, which provides strategic advice and management support to Life Sciences VCs and pharma/biotech companies

Over his international career of 30 years in big pharma, biotech and VC-backed companies, Konstantinos has acquired hands-on experience that covers the entire range of activities spanning research through to clinical development, registration and product launch, applied in most major therapeutic areas as well as in drug delivery and diagnostics/medical devices. Most recently, he was the Chairman of Eporgen, the CEO of Funxional Therapeutics, an advisor to Index Ventures and the CSO and Head of R&D of Eurand. Earlier appointments include positions within Marketing & Sales in Serono, within R&D in Glaxo/Glaxo Welcome and Farmitalia- Carlo Erba, and also academic positions at the Universities of Strasbourg and Padua

Konstantinos graduated in Pharmacy from the University of Athens and holds a PhD in Pharmacokinetics and MSc degrees in Pharmacology and in Industrial Pharmacy from the University of Strasbourg, and an MBA from the London Business School
